Amador Artists Open Studio Tour
September 19 and 20, 2009
10 AM to 4 PM
Take a leisurely day or the entire weekend to discover the artistic treasures of Amador County. Visit 24 artists at 14 different locations in working studios and with artists that have grouped together so you can see a variety of styles and media in one place. Watch demonstrations and see the artist’s processes, ask questions, learn about their inspirations, view their latest work or purchase a treasure of your own.

This year’s FREE tour includes some of Amador County’s best known artists working in oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well as collage, mixed media, pastel and pencil. Also included are fiber artists, photographers, ceramicists, sculptors and more.
Don’t forget to stop by the Artists Raffle at the Rollingwood Clubhouse in Jackson, and you might even win a piece of artwork. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and each item has it’s own ticket box. Just drop your ticket in the box next to the artwork you are interested in winning. The drawing will take place at 3 PM on September 20th and you need not be present to win. All proceeds support the Amador Artists Association Scholarship Program and Annual Student Art Show.
