FREE STUDENT TICKETS TO SYMPHONY CONCERT
The Amador County Arts Council, in association with the Mother Lode Friends of Music, is offering a limited number of free tickets to Amador County school children through high school to attend the symphony concert on Sunday, March 29, at the Church of the Nazarene in Sutter Creek.
The program, starting at 3 p.m., will include music by Mozart and Beethoven performed by a full, professional-quality, symphony orchestra.. The conductor is Andrei Gorbatenko, conductor of the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, with violin soloist Florin Parvulescu and viola soloist Yun Jie Liu, both members of the world-renowned San Francisco Symphony.
The free tickets are available upon purchase of adult tickets ($20 per ticket) at any of the following outlets : High Sierra Tickets (online or by calling 209-296-5495 by credit-card, a small surcharge will be added for processing), Mother Lode Music (across from Safeway in Martell), Hein Co. Books (Main Street, Jackson), Suzy’s Coffee (next to Post Office in Pine Grove), or at the door the day of the concert. Limit two free tickets for every adult ticket purchased. The free tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
This special promotion will allow Amador county school children a unique opportunity to experience some of the greatest achievements in our musical history, performed locally at a level of quality which is otherwise available only in major metropolitan areas. |
